Laureate Institute of Education and Training, Shimla participated in a Red Ribbon Club Awareness Programme held on 25 November 2025 at LIET. The programme was organized with the objective of sensitizing students towards HIV/AIDS prevention, health awareness and responsible health practices.

The programme brought together students and faculty members in an informative and engaging session. Various aspects related to HIV/AIDS, its prevention, misconceptions surrounding the disease and the importance of awareness were discussed. Students were encouraged to seek correct information, avoid stigma and understand the significance of responsible behaviour in maintaining individual and community health.


The programme also emphasized the role of youth in creating a healthier and more aware society. Active participation by students and teachers made the initiative meaningful and interactive, providing students with an opportunity to enhance their knowledge and develop a greater sense of social responsibility.
The initiative reflected the institute’s continued efforts towards promoting health education, awareness, inclusivity and responsible citizenship among students.
