Laureate Institute of Education and Training, Shimla organized a Cancer Awareness Day on 25 November 2025 at LIET with the active participation of students. The initiative was aimed at promoting awareness about cancer prevention, early detection and the importance of adopting a healthy lifestyle.
As part of the programme, students enthusiastically participated in poster-making and awareness activities, creatively presenting important information on cancer prevention, healthy dietary practices, regular health check-ups and the harmful effects of tobacco and other unhealthy habits. The posters reflected the students’ creativity while effectively communicating meaningful health-awareness messages.
The activity provided students with a valuable platform to combine creativity with social awareness and responsibility. Through their participation, students were encouraged to become informed individuals and contribute towards spreading awareness for a healthier and cancer-aware society.
