This year International Youth Day was celebrated by the B.Ed. students on 8th September, 2026.
Theme for 2026: “Different Contexts, Common Aspiration”
This theme highlights that while young people live in diverse local and national realities, they share common goals like dignity, quality education, decent work and a sustainable future.
On this occasion, B.Ed. students of all four houses gave wonderful performances. The details are as follows:
1. Aadarsh House – Nukkad Natak
A Nukkad Natak was presented to make students aware regarding the increased use of mobile phones.
2. Aman House – Skit
A skit was presented to create awareness regarding prevention of HIV & AIDS, specifically through infected syringes and use of drugs etc.
3. Jyoti House – Presentation on Tuberculosis
Students presented slides on the symptoms, prevention and remedies of TB (Tuberculosis) and made beautiful and meaningful charts on the same. A PPT presentation was given to share important information on Tuberculosis.
4. Shakti House – Debate
A debate was conducted on the topic “One Experiment and a Lifetime Change – Can Occasional Use Lead to Addiction?”
Moreover, on the importance of International Youth Day, a paper was presented to make everyone aware regarding the importance of the day.
A Quiz was also organized on International Youth Day. Shakti House was declared the winner. In 5 rounds, they scored the highest with 115 points and secured 1st position, while Aman House secured 2nd position with 85 points.
The event was concluded by the Chief Guest by appreciating the students and stating that such awareness programmes must be organized to make the public aware.
At the end, refreshments were distributed to all the students and teachers engaged in the activity.
