Earth Day is celebrated every year on 22nd April aiming to encourage everyone to save the environment, preserve it and stop it from degrading. In order to demonstrate support for environmental protection the students of B.Ed.lst year(Session-2022-24) of L.I.E.T, Bharari, Shimla-3 prepared beautiful posters depicting various themes and also this year’s(2023) theme “Invest In Our Planet” and took a pledge to preserve and conserve their self sustaining Planet. May lst is celebrated as International Labour Day or May Day. The primary objective is to recognize the hard work and dedication of the working class and create awareness about their rights and protect them from exploitation. ln order to recognize and applaud the contribution of the labourers the student of B.Ed. 1st year (Session-2022-24) enthusiastically made Charts depicting the theme”A safe and healthy working environment as a fundamental Principle and right at work”.On this occasion, the Principal of the institute Dr.Kamaljit Kaur praised the efforts of the students of all four houses(Aaman, Adarsh, Jyoti, Shakti).
