A National Fest was organized at the Himachal Pradesh University on 9th, 10th and 11th of November. It consisted of cultural events like group dance, solo song, group song and literary activities. Our college students took part in the group song and it was judged as the third finisher. Our participation was very good and enthusiastic. Our group song was “Koti Koti Kantho Ne Gaya Maa Ka Gaurav Gaan Hai”. Participants were assisted by our Music teachers Mr. Ankush Sandal and Mr. Ravi Kumar on tabla and harmonium. Prizes were also awarded by our Director of the Institute, Dr. Ran Singh in the morning assembly the very next day when the function was over. They also focused on the importance of participation and showcasing talent in such activities for the all round development which is the main motive of the educational institute.
